Press Release: JWatson Creative is now Points North Design Studio

[JANUARY 26, 2017]
On the morning of January 26th, Jessica Watson, president of JWatson Creative, announced that they were changing their name to Points North Design Studio. The transition will take place over the next few days.

JWatson Creative started in 2010 as a one woman shop. With almost 7 years under our belt, we have grown to include a very diverse and talented team. It’s time to have a name that reflects our journey and the array of services we offer to our clients.

“I named the first business after me because it was really important to establish my name in Baltimore,” Watson says, “But now, I work with such an amazing team, I wanted our name to give more insight to what’s happening behind the scenes.”

Additionally, Watson cited that she’s working on a travel memoir, and other community projects in Baltimore and beyond. “I am more than JWatson Creative. I am a graphic designer, a writer, a volunteer, a traveler. Just as it was important for me to be more inclusive of how we are growing, it is also important to not box my identity into a corner. So I am Jessica Watson, and my company is Points North Design Studio.”
