• Many of us will take this time, as the year comes to a close, to start planning out our goals and ambitions for 2018. As you make your list may you also carve out a section where you can reflect and appreciate all that’s working for you now.

  • On Saturday, January 13th, between 2pm – 3pm, we will be meeting up at the Shot Tower in Baltimore to hang donated scarfs (store bought and homemade) along the fence for anyone who needs to stay warm this holiday season.

  • B’More Creatives, the professional networking group for women in the creative profession, is closing at the end of the year. We’re going out with a bang with a Masquerade Party on Dec 6th.

  • While reading Brené Brown’s book, Braving The Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone, I found a few words that really resonated with me. Okay, if I’m being honest, I found a lot within these pages that resonated with me.

  • We sometimes set impossible standards for ourselves. Everyone is guilty of this. Sometimes when we don’t reach the goals in the time frame we allotted, we struggle to give ourselves credit. We feel like we’re not good enough.

  • We expanded our Have A Nice Day Project to R.House in Remington, a neighborhood just a couple miles north of the inner harbor. Coffee cup sleeves were donated to Charmingtons, Ground & Griddled (both in Remington) and Koba Cafe (Federal Hill).

  • At Points North, we’re really big into gratitude and showing appreciation towards those who help us grow. But, it’s also important for us to be mindful of what we send, that it reflects our values and what we stand for as a company.

  • Baltimore Women in Tech is hosting Manny Ehrlich, member of the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazards Investigation Board (CSB).
